We are recruiting on behalf of a children’s residential care provider for an experienced Registered Children’s Home Manager to lead a regulated children’s home delivering high‑quality, trauma‑informed care.

Full-Time | Permanent

Salary: Competitive 55k – 65k

Location: Altringham, UK

This is an ideal opportunity for an Ofsted Registered Manager or an experienced Deputy Manager ready to step up, with strong safeguarding knowledge and leadership capability.

Key Responsibilities

Registered Manager responsibility for a Children’s Residential Home
Ensure full compliance with Children’s Homes Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards
Lead, manage, and develop a residential care staff team
Deliver high‑quality, child‑centred, trauma‑informed care (including PACE)
Act as safeguarding lead, managing risk assessments and behaviour support plans
Liaise with Ofsted, Local Authorities, social workers, and external professionals
Manage staffing levels, rotas, budgets, and the home environment
Oversee inspections, audits, and regulatory reporting
Essential Requirements

Experience as a Registered Children’s Home Manager or Deputy Manager
Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding practice
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent / working towards)
Proven leadership and people‑management skills
Ability to work flexibly, including on‑call duties
