Bedfordshire £49,159 per annum + up to £10,000 Bonus Bedfordshire Ofsted rating:Good Vacancy: We are currently looking to appoint a Registered Home Manager for a small childrens residential homes in Bedfordshire. Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the day to day running of the home with the support from a Deputy Manager. Our home supports children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties, providing the stability, warmth, and consistency they need to thrive. Rated Good by Ofsted, this is a home where relationships are at the heart of everything we do. Our dedicated team work hard to create a nurturing space where every child feels valued, listened to, and understood. We are looking for a manager who is a natural leader and has the needs of the children and young people we support at the heart of what they do. You will have a previous experience of working in a residential setting, a good understanding of Ofsted requirements, recruitment, staff training, supervisions, implementing safeguarding policies and procedures. What youll bring: QCF Level 5 in Leadership and Management in Residential Childcare (or working towards) At least 2 years recent experience in a supervisory role within a Registered Childrens Home Proven managerial and leadership skills with a child-centred approach Strong knowledge of childrens home regulations and legislation A positive track record with Ofsted inspections The ability to inspire a team and build trusted relationships with stakeholders Full UK Driving Licence What we offer: Comprehensive training and career development pathways.
