We now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Manager to oversee our new service in Huddersfield. The Role As the Registered Manager, you will take full management responsibility for the smooth running of this brand new 5 bedroom home. You will lead a team of care professionals, foster a strong safeguarding culture, and ensure our high standards are upheld every day. Your focus will be on ensuring that we continue to enrich the lives of the people we support, helping them to thrive, achieve meaningful outcomes, develop their independence, and get the most out of life. Responsibilities Have a passion for person-centred care Build trusting relationships Promote independence, choice and agency, encouraging the people we support to make their own decisions wherever possible Work closely with the home team, professionals and families of people you support to provide the best care and support Meet all governing body regulations and legislative requirements Delivery and monitoring of all service provisions with the home Complying with all company policies and procedures Promoting a strong safeguarding culture Leading, developing and motivating a high-performing team Operating within a defined budget and meeting all service standards and KPI's To be successful in the role you will: Ideally be an experienced registered manager in a similar CQC regulated environment. It is essential that you have NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent. Be able to demonstrate a track record of delivering high quality care for adults with autism and learning disabilities Have the ability to lead and develop a large team, supporting career development and growth Be flexible and manage your own hours to meet the needs of the business. Have resilience and tenacity to deal with challenging situations.
