Registered Manager (Ofsted)
to lead a solo occupancy childrens residential home in Merseyside. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong leader within childrens residential care to take full responsibility for the operational, regulatory, and therapeutic delivery of a high-quality home environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring young people receive personalised, safe, and outcome-focused care in line with Ofsted standards. Key Responsibilities Lead the daily operations of the childrens home, ensuring full compliance with Ofsted regulations and safeguarding legislation Develop, implement, and review individualised care plans and risk assessments Ensure safe and effective medication management Recruit, lead, supervise, and develop a team of residential support staff Drive a culture of high standards, accountability, and therapeutic care Monitor staff performance and ensure ongoing training and development Maintain accurate and compliant documentation and records Liaise with local authorities, social workers, families, and external professionals Promote positive outcomes for children and young people Requirements Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care for Children & Young People (essential or willing to work towards) Minimum 1 years experience as a Childrens Home Manager (required) Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and childrens home legislation Experience within residential childcare or therapeutic settings Proven leadership and team management experience Strong understanding of safeguarding and risk management Excellent communication and organisational skills Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle Ability to commute to or relocate to Merseyside Whats on Offer £60,000
