What you will do:

As a Registered Manager, you will be at the helm of operations, ensuring that all regulations are adhered to and that exceptional care is provided. Your daily responsibilities include:

- Meeting the requirements set by the Registered and Placing Authority.

- Ensuring compliance with the Children’s Home Regulations and Ofsted’s guidelines.

- Safeguarding all children and young people, maintaining excellent safeguarding procedures.

- Coordinating with care teams for admissions and overseeing the development of personal plans for the children.

- Facilitating effective communication with external agencies, relatives, and advocates.

- Reviewing services and implementing changes for continuous improvement.

- Providing direct care and supervision when necessary and managing challenging behaviours.

- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide consistent and comprehensive care.

Qualifications and Experience:

- A minimum of two years’ experience in residential care within the last five years.

- Management experience in a residential setting.

- At least one year in a supervisory role in a care environment.

- A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or equivalent.

- Comprehensive knowledge of Children Homes regulations, Quality Standards, and related legislation.

- Physically and mentally prepared to manage and lead with effectiveness.
