Registered Manager
to lead an 8 bed home, ensuring exceptional care, strong governance, and a positive, person?centred culture.
About the Role As Registered Manager, you will oversee the day to day running of the service, lead and develop the staff team, and ensure full compliance with CQC regulations and company policies. You will champion the values of
privacy, dignity, independence, choice, rights and fulfilment , ensuring every service user receives personalised, high quality support.
You will also play a key role in service development, quality assurance, staff performance, and budget management, working closely with the Operations Team to maintain high standards and support business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the service in line with CQC requirements and company policies Ensure effective governance, risk management, and incident reporting Oversee assessments, support plans, and risk assessments for all service users Promote service user involvement in decisions affecting their lives Lead recruitment, induction, supervision, and performance management of staff Ensure mandatory training is completed and recorded Manage budgets, staffing levels, and resource allocation Investigate complaints and maintain high-quality standards Lead staff meetings and service user meetings Participate in the on?call management rota Support business planning, quality initiatives, and service development Work with the Operations Team to manage voids and ensure suitable placements Experience/Qualifications Es

NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care Minimum 5 years experience at managerial/supervisory level in a relevant care setting Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff Excellent knowledge of CQC regulations and key legislation (MCA, H&SCA, etc.) Experience managing budgets and resources Strong communication and organisational skills Full UK driving licence Desirable
NVQ Level 4 in Management Training in Risk Assessment, Health & Safety, or Challenging Behaviour Experience supporting individuals with complex or challenging needs Benefits
