Registered Manager – Residential Children’s Home Location: Coventry Salary: From £42,000 per year Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week (Monday–Friday) ⸻ About Us At Genesis Living Limited, we thrive on giving children and young people a positive new beginning in life, no matter the traumas they have experienced in the past. Following the successful registration of our supported accommodation homes in Warwickshire, we are proud to announce the opening of our first 2-bed residential children’s home for young people aged 7–17 with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). We have an established, passionate team already in place – with trauma-informed support, an in-house Psychologist, and an experienced RI and Operations Manager ready to guide and support you as we transition into residential care. ⸻ The Opportunity We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager (RM) or an experienced Deputy Manager ready to step up and create a safe, nurturing home where children can thrive. You will have the autonomy you need as an RM while working alongside experienced Responsible Individual who is committed to ensuring the home operates to the highest standards. As the RM, you will also act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead, bringing your expertise and passion for safeguarding children to the heart of everything we do. *Key Responsibilities* •Ensure full compliance with the Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015 •Maintain and work toward a Good or Outstanding Ofsted rating •Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people •Deliver personalised care and involve children in decision‑making •Develop and maintain Care Plans and Risk Assessments •Lead, support, and supervise a committed staff team •Plan and coordinate activities, holidays, and events •Conduct staff supervisions and annual performance appraisals •Manage the home’s budget and financial records •Oversee the upkeep and maintenance of the home •Complete all mandatory training within the probation period •Ensure all staff training is completed within statutory timeframes •Report regularly to the RI and Operations Manager •Obtain and maintain Ofsted registration \* Maintain active registration with the DBS Update Service ⸻ What We’re Looking For Experience: \* 2+ years in Residential Childcare (required) \* 1+ year management experience within a Residential Children’s Home (required) Qualifications & Requirements: \* Level 3 Diploma in Children’s and Young People Workforce (required) \* Level 5 Leadership & Management in Residential Childcare xcunqrw (preferred) \* Full UK Driving Licence (required) ⸻ *What We Offer* A competitive salary starting from £42,000 per year The chance to lead a brand‑new home with a supportive, trauma-informed team Ongoing professional development and training A workplace where your expertise and leadership directly shape positive outcomes for young people ⸻ Work Location: In person – Coventry If you’re ready to take the next step in your career and create a safe, nurturing environment where children can truly thrive, we’d love to hear from you!
