Our Client is a new Children's residential service in Birmingham, dedicated to providing high-quality care and support to children and young people. They are passionate about creating a safe, nurturing environment where young people can thrive, build resilience, and reach their full potential. The Role We are looking for an experienced Registered Manager to lead the setup and day-to-day running of our Client new children’s home. You will play a key role in achieving Ofsted registration, maintaining compliance, and ensuring the highest standards of care. Key Responsibilities - Lead the setup of the home and ensure Ofsted readiness - Manage all aspects of the home’s operations and compliance - Deliver high-quality care that promotes positive outcomes for young people - Lead, support, and develop staff through supervision and appraisals - Ensure safeguarding and child protection standards are upheld - Maintain accurate records, reports, and risk assessments - Build strong relationships with stakeholders and the local community - Provide on-call support on a rota basis Requirements - Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Registered Manager - Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and Children’s Homes standards - Experience in safeguarding and child protection - Proven leadership and team management skills - Passion for improving outcomes for children and young people Benefits - Free on-site parking - Casual dress - Discounted or free food pp - Employee discount If you’re a dedicated leader ready to make a real difference, we’d love to hear from you.
