Family-Run, Medium-Sized Care Provider

Overview

We are working with a growing, family-run care provider to recruit an experienced Registered Manager for a well-established neurorehabilitation service in Surrey.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation with a strong reputation for quality care and person-centred rehabilitation.

The service supports individuals transitioning from acute care to greater independence through tailored care pathways and multi-disciplinary input.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for leading a skilled team, including a clinical Deputy Manager, to deliver safe, effective neurorehabilitation. Your focus will be on maintaining high standards, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring the service operates in full compliance with CQC regulations. While a clinical background is not essential, experience managing a similar service or setting is key.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day leadership and service oversight
  • Ensure delivery of high-quality, person-centred rehabilitation care
  • Support a smooth transition for patients from acute settings to independent living
  • Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and compassion
  • Maintain regulatory compliance and work toward ‘Outstanding’ outcomes
  • Manage budgets, staffing, and resourcing effectively
  • Foster strong relationships with families, commissioners, and partners

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 4/RMA or NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care Leadership (or equivalent)
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Registered Manager
  • Experience in a comparable service (rehab, complex care, neuro, transitional care)
  • Knowledge of CQC standards with proven success in recent inspections
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Commercial awareness and experience within the private care sector
  • Passion for delivering measurable outcomes in adult rehabilitation

What’s in it for you?

  • Salary up to £70,000, plus benefits
  • £6,000 annual KPI-based bonus (paid every 6 months, non-contractual), 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
  • Supportive, values-led environment
  • Opportunity to lead a growing service with strong backing
  • Scope for development as the organisation expands to new sites
