Nocturnal Recruitment are currently looking to recruit aCQC Registered Managerfor our residential provision located within the college grounds. The Registered Manager will have overall operational responsibility for the service, ensuring it runs safely, effectively and in line with regulatory requirements. The role involves overseeing the delivery of high-quality care and support for residents aged 18 25, while managing and supporting the wider staff team.
The following information aims to provide potential candidates with a better understanding of the requirements for this role. Key Responsibilities: Lead the Residential Service oversee the day-to-day running of the residential provision, ensuring students receive safe, high-quality and person-centred support. Ensure the health, safety and wellbeing of students aged 1825 who are developing independence and preparing for adulthood. Maintain compliance with regulatory and safeguarding standards. Recruit, supervise and support Deputy Managers, Team Leaders and Senior Support Workers. Provide coaching, guidance and performance management to develop staff and maintain high standards of care. Manage service budgets and ensure effective deployment of staff resources. Use internal IT systems to monitor staffing, incidents, training, compliance and service quality. Work with external professionals, commissioners and partner agencies to promote the service and support referrals and placements. Support staff through inductions, training and ongoing professional development. Continuously develop your own knowledge and practice to support service improvement. Minimum Requirements: Previous experience as a Registered Manager in a College / similar setting. Level 5 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or be willing to work towards this qualification). Prior experience managing staff teams, rotas and service delivery. Enhanced DBS (being on the update service). Strong understanding of CQC regulations, safeguarding procedures and quality standards.
