About the Role


We are looking for a Relationship Manager to build and develop strong partnerships with employers across East London, Essex and Kent.

This role is ideal for someone from a recruitment, employer engagement or workforce development background who is used to working directly with employers to understand their business needs and advise on talent and workforce development strategies.

You will act as a trusted advisor to employers, supporting them to identify skills gaps, workforce challenges and training opportunities that support long term growth.

This is a highly relationship driven role where you will engage with organisations at multiple levels, helping them develop practical workforce solutions and ensuring they maximise the value of available training and development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

As a Relationship Manager, you will:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with employers across the region
  • Act as the main point of contact for organisations, understanding their workforce needs and challenges
  • Engage with employers to identify skills gaps and workforce development opportunities
  • Provide advice and guidance on training, apprenticeships and workforce development pathways
  • Support employers in planning their future talent pipelines and workforce strategy
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams and training providers to deliver appropriate solutions
  • Monitor employer engagement activity and maintain accurate records through CRM systems
  • Represent the organisation at employer meetings, events and industry engagement activities
  • Identify opportunities to expand employer partnerships and strengthen regional engagement

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience working directly with employers in a recruitment, employer engagement or workforce development role
  • A strong track record of building and managing long term client relationships
  • Experience advising organisations on workforce planning, talent development or skills solutions
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • The ability to influence and build trust with senior stakeholders
  • Strong organisational and relationship management skills
  • A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the region
