Reliability Manager Location: Wakfeild, West YorkshireSalary: Competitive, dependent on experienceWorking Pattern: Site based / full timeWe're working in partnership with a well-established FMCG manufacturing business to recruit an experienced Reliability Manager for a key engineering leadership role.This is an excellent opportunity to lead and develop a team of multi-skilled engineers, driving improvements in plant reliability, safety and performance within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You'll play a central role in delivering the site engineering strategy through effective planned, reactive and corrective maintenance. The Role You'll be responsible for managing and motivating an engineering team to deliver safe, reliable and high-performing plant operations while embedding a strong reliability and continuous improvement culture.Key responsibilities include: Leading and developing a team of multi-skilled engineers across shift patternsPromoting a strong health & safety culture and ensuring engineering activities meet all regulatory and business standardsDelivering the site engineering and asset care strategy through planned, corrective and reactive maintenanceManaging team resources, labour budgets and shift cover to meet operational demandsDriving improvements in plant reliability through data-led maintenance activitiesLeading root cause analysis and loss reduction using CI tools and techniquesCommunicating engineering performance and KPIs to the Engineering Leadership TeamSupporting delivery of asset care, reliability and improvement projects to time and budgetManaging contractor activity and ensuring compliance with method statements and risk assessments About You Structured engineering background (apprenticeship, HNC, degree or equivalent)Proven experience managing and leading engineering teams in a manufacturing environmentStrong understanding of maintenance strategies, asset care and reliability principlesExperience working with ERP systems such as SAP in an engineering or manufacturing settingConfident decision-maker with strong problem-solving and analytical skillsExcellent communicator with the ability to build effective relationships at all levelsTrack record of driving continuous improvement and developing team capabilityGood working knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and food safety standards (e.g. BRC)FMCG manufacturing experience desirable What's on Offer Engineering leadership role with clear ownership of plant reliability and performanceOpportunity to influence site engineering strategy and long-term asset care plansHigh-impact position within a well-invested, fast-paced manufacturing environmentSupportive culture with a strong focus on safety, continuous improvement and people development JBRP1_UKTJ
