People are the most important ingredient in our business recipe, and we are currently looking for an experienced Regional Chef Manager with fantastic craft skills and a background of developing and leading people to join the team at Accent Catering. You should be a foodie with great people skills and a strong understanding of all aspects of food safety and health & safety, budgeting, finance, managing wastage and stock controls. You must be flexible and comfortable with travelling to different schools weekly and occasionally daily with last minute diary changes. We play an important part in students learning and development, and we are looking for someone who shares our passion about ensuring that our future generations are provided with nutritious and delicious food, while also inspiring them to lead a healthier lifestyle. As our ideal Relief Chef Manager you will:- Have excellent craft skills and the ability to manage your own kitchen Have proven experience of managing, training and leading a team Have a full driving license enabling you to drive in the UK Have a proven track record of continually improving standards Be passionate about food with excellent culinary skills and a great eye for detail Have excellent IT skills, financial and budget awareness and a good understanding of GP calculation Have the ability to understand and complete daily all relevant food and health and safety compliance books
