About our
Nursery
Harrogate Pannal Ash is
an Ofsted-rated "Good" nursery with a capacity of 86 children,
located in a converted, detached house across two floors. The
nursery offers three stimulating and welcoming rooms, with
additional space for keyworker group activities or quiet
relaxation. It is conveniently situated on the main bus route into
Harrogate and just a 10-minute walk from the train station. The
facility provides free parking for families. Strong connections
with local schools ensure a smooth transition for children moving
on to primary education. The nursery also offers weekly
extracurricular activities like football, music, and language
classes, and the children regularly visit a local Residential Home
for arts, crafts, and singing, which is enjoyed by
all.

Role Responsibilities: What to Expect as a Relief Early Years
Educator:
Assist in
planning and delivering educational activities that promote
children's development.
Create a safe,
stimulating, and inclusive learning
environment.
Take on the role of Key Person,
fostering strong partnerships with children and their
families.
Track and report on children's
progress through observations and
assessments.
Required Qualifications: Ideal
Candidate:
Level 2
qualification in early years
education.
Experience working with children
under 5.
Empathy and understanding – each child
is unique.
Strong communication and
organisational skills.
You may have previous experience working with children,
ideally as an Early Years Educator, Nursery Practitioner,
Nursery Assistant or Nursery Nurse.
