We are excited to offer an opportunity for a Residential Support Worker to join our team in a childrens home, supporting up to four young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD).

Training & Development

We are committed to investing in our staff. All team members receive a comprehensive induction, followed by ongoing training that supports our therapeutic care model.

This includes mandatory training and Team Teach positive behaviour management at intermediate level, refreshed every 24 months.

All residential support staff are required to hold, or be willing to work towards, a Residential Childcare Level 3 qualification.

What youll be doing As a Residential Support Worker, you will provide consistent, compassionate care to young people, supporting them in their day-to-day lives and helping them to achieve positive outcomes.

Responsibilities will include: Providing day-to-day care and emotional support to young people Supporting children to manage behaviour positively and develop coping strategies Building positive relationships and acting as a reliable, supportive role model Supporting young people to engage in education, activities, hobbies, and community life Promoting independence, self-esteem, and emotional wellbeing Maintaining accurate records and contributing to care plans Working in partnership with colleagues, professionals, and families Ensuring safeguarding, health and safety, and regulatory requirements are always met

Requirements Residential Childcare Level 3 qualification (or willingness to work towards) Experience working with children or young people (EBD experience desirable but not essential) A caring, patient, and child-centred approach Willingness to learn and develop within the role
