Residential Development Solicitor – South East

Location: Flexible – Roles across Essex, Kent, London

Are you an ambitious property lawyer with a passion for residential development looking to join a leading team? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-regarded regional firm with a strong pipeline of high-value residential development work across the South East.

Due to continued growth, the firm is looking to recruit a solicitor into their specialist Residential Development team. You’ll be advising housebuilders, developers, landowners, and investors on a wide range of complex and strategic land matters.

The Role:

• Advising on site acquisitions and disposals
• Negotiating conditional contracts, options, and overage agreements
• Handling planning and infrastructure agreements
• Drafting and negotiating development agreements
• Managing plot sales (with support from a dedicated team)
• Supporting clients with strategic land and long-term development projects

The Ideal Candidate:

• 3–8 years’ PQE in Commercial Property or Residential Development
• Strong technical knowledge of land and development matters
• Able to manage complex transactions independently
• Clear and confident communicator with excellent client care skills
• Experience working with developers or landowners is desirable
