Having opened only a month ago, this is a great opportunity to join a growing business. Hidden in a courtyard by Covent Garden market, 'Burro' is a brand new restaurant opening from the team behind Trullo, Islington's iconic and well loved restaurant.
This venture, led by chef- owner Conor Gadd, serves Italian food with a focus on simple, seasonally focused and adored dishes. A wine list which represents the classics whilst also exploring the lesser known Italian regions. All executed in a warm and atmospheric room. Led by a group of people who care deeply about hospitality, creating a warm and generous culture and operating with growth of its people at its core.

Who Were Looking For
Burro is on the lookout for restaurant managers who bring their whole personalities to work, whilst knowing the professional line. We are looking for deeply curious and engaged people who care not just about their section, but the whole restaurant experience. We love working with people who love working with people; making a memorable difference to guest and team experiences alike.
This role is perfect for someone who wants to build experiences, and to grow alongside their entire team.
The ideal applicants will already have a year or two of fast-paced restaurant experience. Ideally well- versed in managing restaurant spaces and running a busy floor.

What you'll be doing
Be a representative of Burro
Lead the team in line with our priorities & cultural values
Day to day leadership of the restaurant, ensuring flawless execution both lunch and dinner. Ensuring all FOH are able to fulfill their job descriptions.
Support and manage the head waiters in the day to day running of the restaurant
Inspire, mentor & motivate staff to achieve consistency and successfully run Burro operations.
Participate in the hiring process for all FOH team members.
Lead in the training of the restaurant team and head waiters
Ensure new staff are trained according to our steps of service & expectations
To ensure a clean restaurant area adhering to conditions set by GM
Facilitate the AGM with creative well thought out and interesting weekly briefings
Comfortably and confidently lead briefings
Liaise with the Head Chef to ensure food specs are up to date and circulated to the whole team
Liaise and support head of reservations to assist in maximising the potential of the restaurant through constructive ideas and building strong customer relationships
Liaise with the head of reservations to ensure seamless restaurant flow and maximise covers.
