In this role, you'll work closely with internal teams to manage post-order customer activity, ensuring projects run smoothly and key deadlines are met.Our client is committed to delivering high-quality, bespoke retail products, so we're looking for someone who is organised, commercially aware, and confident building strong customer relationships. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic, expanding organisation with real potential for career progression.Retail Account Manager Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain long-term customer partnerships, ensuring communication is timely, clear, and tailoredGain a strong understanding of product ranges to respond quickly and accurately to queriesAssess customer needs and collaborate with Quality Assurance to ensure all products meet required standards and specificationsOversee orders from start to finish, ensuring smooth delivery, invoicing, and on-time project milestonesWork with Sales Coordinators to complete all customer documentation efficiently and accuratelyPrepare accurate, well-presented quotations and confirm all order detailsPrioritise daily tasks to meet customer expectations and handle urgent issues confidentlyManage internal and external deadlines using available software toolsWork with the Key Account Manager to align customer plans and support wider account strategyCheck product samples for quality before dispatchEscalate customer queries or concerns to the Key Account Manager where neededRetail Account Manager Skills & ExperienceExperience in Account Management or a similar customer-focused role within retail products or FMCGBackground in private label or made-to-order product ranges is advantageousExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to build strong working relationships at all levelsA customer-centric mindset with a passion for delivering first-class B2B serviceNatural problem-solver and fast learnerStrong multitasking abilities, able to handle multiple projects and prioritiesExcellent attention to detail; proficient in MS OfficeProactive, organised, and collaborative in approachExtra Information:Refer a friend and earn up to £500 (see website for details)Due to high application volumes, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
