Job Title: Risk Manager Location: London (Hybrid – 2 days per week in office) Department: Risk Reporting to: Vice President of Risk Salary: C. 70k Role Overview This is an exciting opportunity to join the Risk and Compliance team as a Risk Manager within the safeguarding function. The role involves leading the risk review process and collaborating with multiple stakeholders across the business to enhance the organisation’s risk management framework. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain a robust risk management programme aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements Conduct risk assessments and collaborate with internal teams to identify and evaluate potential threats Manage the Risk Register and ensure accurate documentation of risk-related information Define and implement effective risk management processes and procedures Formulate risk responses and mitigation strategies with risk owners Promote risk control and prevention strategies across the organisation Perform control analysis and testing to assess effectiveness Identify and monitor Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and Key Control Indicators (KCIs) Engage with senior stakeholders to integrate risk and compliance into business operations Monitor regulatory changes and industry developments Deliver training programmes on risk and compliance policies Maintain comprehensive risk and compliance documentation Skills & Experience Required Minimum 6 years’ experience in a risk management role Proven experience managing data protection programmes across international operations Strong knowledge of risk management frameworks and assessment methodologies Excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement capabilities Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to problem-solving Experience presenting risk insights to senior leadership
