Roadside Technician Location: York Salary: Up to £35,000 basic + bonus & overtime | OTE £43,000£53,000 Hours: 40 hours per week Reference: 28203 We are currently recruiting for a Roadside Technician to join our clients team covering theYork area. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced technician who enjoys problem-solving and working independently in a mobile role. You will play a crucial part in getting vehicles safely back on the road, representing a leading name in the automotive industry.

Diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle faults including mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues Carry out routine maintenance such as brake inspections, fluid checks, and battery replacements Use the latest diagnostic tools and software to identify and fix complex faults on-site Deliver outstanding customer service by clearly communicating repair options and solutions Maintain a clean, safe, and organised mobile workspace Record all work completed accurately using company systems Requirements:

Minimum Level 2 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (City & Guilds, IMI, NVQ or equivalent) At least 3 years of experience in a workshop or mobile technician environment Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities Excellent communication and customer service skills Full UK driving licence with no more than 9 penalty points (no disqualifications) This role is ideal for a proactive and capable technician who enjoys autonomy, variety, and problem-solving on the go.
