Duties:

• Respond to roadside breakdown assistance requests across Newport and the surrounding region.
• Diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle issues, from small city cars to 4x4s and everything in between.
• Work independently using a fully equipped company van.
• Provide exceptional customer service, often assisting customers in stressful situations.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic repairs on diverse vehicle types.
• Maintain accurate records and demonstrate methodical, organised work habits.
• Represent our client professionally at all times, providing a friendly and calm demeanour.

Candidate Specification:

• At least IMI/NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic experience on various vehicles.
• Valid UK driving licence with minimal points.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Organised, methodical, and capable of managing workload effectively.
• Friendly, approachable personality with excellent communication skills.
• Prior roadside assistance or breakdown repair experience is desirable but not essential.
