THE OPPORTUNITY This is not a desk-based role. Were looking for a hands-on Roofing Site Manager to oversee works across multiple sites within the South West, delivering planned and reactive roofing works within social housing. Youll be managing a mix of direct labour and subcontractors, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard. You will spend the majority of your time out on site, with occasional days in the Exeter office for admin and reporting.

THE ROLE - Manage day-to-day roofing site operations across multiple projects - Oversee pitched roofing (slate, tile, concrete) and flat roofing systems - Supervise roofing teams and subcontractors - Ensure full Health & Safety compliance (RAMS, site standards) - Liaise with clients, tenants, and internal teams - Problem-solve on site including materials, labour, and delivery challenges - Maintain accurate site records, reporting, and documentation - Ensure projects meet quality standards and deadlines - Travel between sites across the South West

WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR - Proven experience as a Roofing Site Manager or Roofing Supervisor - Strong technical knowledge of pitched roofing (slate, tile, concrete) and flat roofing systems - Experience within social housing, planned works, or maintenance - SMSTS qualification (essential) - First Aid qualification - Strong knowledge of Health & Safety regulations - Full UK driving licence - Comfortable working in a field-based role with travel
