Renewable Energy Sales Consultant

£40,000 base + Commission

Hybrid working in Victoria, London

A fast-growing, mission-driven company at the forefront of the UK’s clean energy transition is seeking a Renewable Energy Sales Consultant to join its expanding team. The organisation delivers end-to-end renewable energy solutions—from consultation and system design through to installation, optimisation, and long-term support—helping homeowners and businesses achieve energy independence.


Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, qualify, and convert new sales opportunities through warm inbound leads and referrals
  • Consult with clients to understand their energy usage, goals, and financial considerations
  • Design and present tailored renewable energy solutions to meet customer needs
  • Prepare proposals, quotations, and ROI/payback assessments
  • Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact to contract close
  • Collaborate with technical, installation, and operations teams to ensure accurate system design and delivery
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and sales forecasts
  • Stay up to date with renewable technologies, incentives, regulations, and market trends
  • Represent the company professionally at client meetings, site visits, and industry events


Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in consultative sales (B2C preferred, B2B considered)
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to explain technical concepts clearly and confidently
  • Target-driven mindset with a focus on ethical, value-based selling
  • Skilled in handling objections and negotiating contracts
  • Comfortable using CRM systems and digital sales tools


Desirable Experience

  • Background in renewable energy, energy services, or sustainability
  • Experience selling solar, battery storage, heat pumps, EV charging, or similar technologies
  • Understanding of energy tariffs, incentives, and ideally Home Energy Management Systems (HEMS)
  • Technical knowledge (advantageous but not essential)
