The Role


The company is seeking a driven Sales Director to lead its commercial strategy, build a high‑performing sales function, and open new markets. This is a hands‑on leadership role with responsibility for shaping the organisation’s commercial direction, driving revenue growth and supporting the senior leadership team.


The Skills


The ideal candidate will bring experience from relevant technical, industrial or service‑led markets, combined with a track record of setting commercial strategy and delivering growth. Experience across pre‑acquisition or private‑equity‑influenced environments is advantageous. The role requires full on‑site presence in South Yorkshire, with regular UK travel.


Strong commercial acumen, solution‑led selling capability, and proven success leading and developing sales teams. A data‑driven, customer‑focused approach, with the ability to influence internally and externally. Confident operating at senior leadership level, with excellent communication skills and the ability to build trusted customer relationships.
