The successful Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / Key Account Manager will work fully remote, responsible for new business development and key account management, selling engineered mechanical and industrial solutions, predominantly conveyors and power transmissions via OEM and end user customers, covering the West Midlands and Wales.
The Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / Key Account Manager will ideally have experience selling mechanical engineered products or solutions, into end user channels. Full product training provided, making this role suitable for candidates from a wide range of transferable engineering backgrounds - Conveyors, Motors, gearboxes, power transmission, pumps, valves, hydraulics, pneumatics, automation, MRO, rotating equipment or similar.

Selling mechanical engineered products and solutions into end user channels. Managing a portfolio of key accounts across OEM and end user customers selling mechanical conveyor, power transmission and associated products. Manage and grow existing relationships as well as new business development selling engineered systems and solutions into various industries. Identify and develop new mechanical conveyor and power transmission sales opportunities through demonstration, exhibition, and negotiation. Liaise with various engineering departments. Fully remote role covering the West Midlands and Wales. Sales Engineer / Area Sales Manager / Key Account Manager Requirements
Experience as a Key Account Manager, Account Manager, Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, Technical Sales Engineer, Sales Representative or similar having sold a technical mechanical product. Service Engineers or Internal Sales Engineers seeking a transition into area sales are encouraged to apply. Experience selling engineered products or solutions into end user environments. Full product training provided. Background in transferable engineering products such as Conveyors, Motors, gearboxes, power transmission, Pumps, valves, hydraulics, pneumatics, automation, MRO, rotating equipment or similar. A technical qualification (Apprenticeship, HNC, HND or Degree) is advantageous. Full clean driving licence. Willingness to travel across the West Midlands and Wales.
