About the role…

You will be a key member of the Wastewater and Drainage Sales Team, responsible for expanding our client base and assisting with the increase of revenue across the Scotland business. You’ll be joining a friendly and engaging team, where you will be calling prospective new customers, researching companies to establish new business relationships.

This is a full-time permanent role based across Scotland – this is flexible role with home working and travel to different sites.

As Sales Manager you will…

Management of existing customers and generation of new accounts through prospecting, lead generation and follow up

Effective territory management

Direct responsibility for sales negotiations and handling of sales projects.

Develop and maintain strategic long-term trusting relationships with key clients to accomplish organic growth and long-term company objectives

Identify opportunities to grow business with existing clients.

Regularly conduct face-to-face meetings with clients to enhance relationships and achieve a deep understanding of their business goals and challenges.

Develop and execute a strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base

About you…

Experience in sales, account management, or a related role, preferably in the Wastewater industry, Engineering, Industrial, Energy or equivalent (Services Business)

Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail.

Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal teams.

An ability to positively position and present our products and services to clients at all levels of an organisation

Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suit
