Sales Executive – Up to £38,000 + Uncapped OTE + Bonus Scheme + Excellent Benefits – Reading Are you ambitious, commercially minded, and confident engaging with senior decision‑makers? An established and growing independent business consultancy is looking for a driven Sales Executive to join their high‑performing sales team. This is an opportunity to work directly with Managing Directors, engaging C‑Suite leaders across large corporate businesses. The Sales Executive Opportunity
You'll play a pivotal role in building a strong pipeline of high‑quality opportunities for senior leadership. This is not volume‑based cold calling; it’s strategic and research‑driven outreach targeting senior stakeholders. Building and managing a pipeline of qualified sales opportunities. Conducting in‑depth sector research to identify business challenges and transformation needs. Engaging CEO and C‑Suite prospects via targeted email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach and telephony. Qualifying opportunities based on operational scale and strategic fit. Supporting Managing Directors with meeting preparation and occasionally attending client meetings. Representing the business at relevant industry events. You'll gain exposure to multiple sectors including Infrastructure, Financial Services, Public Sector, Construction, IT/Telecoms, Government and Transport. Comprehensive training and ongoing coaching will be provided to ensure your success.
What We're Looking For
Experience in a Sales Executive, Telesales Executive, Internal Sales Executive, Business Development Executive, Sales Development Representative, Appointment Generator, Lead Generator or similar Sales role. Confident communicating with senior stakeholders. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Highly organised with excellent time management. Resilient, proactive and positive under pressure. Strong team ethic with the ability to use initiative. Comfortable using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. 2:1 degree desirable.
