We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Specialist, Parts Logistics to join our growing team. You will play a key role in identifying customer needs, recommending appropriate solutions, and ensuring the timely and efficient ordering of parts. This position requires strong sales acumen and a customer-first mindset. Must enjoy a fast-paced environment and be passionate about building client relationships while optimizing performance.
Responsibilities
Responsible for generating parts proposals, purchase orders, and sales order confirmations
Develop and maintain exceptional customer relationships in order to fulfill their needs more effectively
Conduct a minimum of 4-6 annual customer and/or project site visits
Serve as parts point of contact for customers; execute requests; address and resolve any issues
Receive and process customer orders and process accordingly
Recommend and facilitate the sale of necessary parts
Interact with business partners and vendors to obtain accurate pricing and information
Provide timely feedback to management regarding performance.
Provide timely, accurate and competitive pricing on all prospect applications submitted for pricing and approval, while striving to maintain maximum profit margin
Maintain accurate purchasing, sales, and sales quote activity reports
Customer on-call duties as required
Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes
May be assigned to special projects or required to perform other duties, as assigned
Annual compensation: $58,000.00 - $63,000.00 annually
Qualifications
Requirements/Skills and Abilities
Required:
Degree AS/BS/BA in Engineering, Business or Communications OR Equivalent technical sales or customer support experience
1+ years inside sales or customer service experience
Intermediate MS Excel proficiency
SAP-B1 experience would be helpful, but not required
Ability to problem solve and resolve issues quickly
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding all sales activity targets, including prospecting calls, appointments, presentations, proposals, and closes
Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service
Dedicated team player who can also work independently
Excellent time management and problem-solving skills; strong attention to detail and the ability to learn quickly
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks with competing priorities and work well under pressure with a sense of both urgency and thoroughness
Professional, positive, and energetic attitude
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time, as per business needs
Ability to work rotating weekends as per the on-call schedule
Desired:
Experience in one or more of the following areas would be advantageous: material handling; technical or engineered equipment parts
Ability to read technical and electrical drawings to identify parts needed by the customer
Commitment Required: Able to set and meet goals; sincere care for others; overwhelming desire to win and to be part of a winning team; able to travel.
