Inside Sales Account Manager
The Inside Sales Account Manager for the Commercial Business Sales unit will be responsible for executing sales operational directives to meet and exceed sales goals. We seek someone with experience in customer sales support who is passionate about advancing their career. This role requires 2 years of quota-carrying experience in a B2B role. The successful candidate will be responsible for meeting daily, weekly, and monthly sales objectives.
Working on the Account Manager team at 8x8 offers a compelling opportunity for sales professionals with a proven track record in upselling existing customers and generating referrals within the technology or telecom sales sectors.
Responsibilities
- Achieve and exceed individual monthly sales quotas.
- Apply best sales practices and techniques as provided by management.
- Make an average of 60 calls per day.
- Develop and manage relationships within our SMB market segment (50-500 employee companies) to create satisfied, reference-able, and referring customers.
- Achieve up-sell goals by educating customers on the value of our applications and services.
- Forecast sales activity and revenue using Salesforce.com.
- Demonstrate our products via the Web.
Qualifications
- Ability to work a territory methodically.
- 2+ years of quota-carrying B2B account management or sales experience (preferably in Telecom, Internet, Technology, SaaS, or VoIP).
- Previous inside sales experience preferred.
- Sales methodology training desired.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Positive mindset and ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- College degree recommended.
