Scenic Project Manager

An established, fast-growing live events and production company is looking for a Scenic Project Manager to join its projects team. This is a hands-on role at the centre of delivering high-impact, visually impressive environments for a range of clients and venues.

You’ll take ownership from brief through to on-site delivery, acting as the link between creative concept and physical build. This role suits someone with strong scenic construction knowledge who enjoys both the technical detail and the final execution.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Manage scenic projects from initial brief through to installation and completion
  • Interpret client requirements and translate them into practical, buildable solutions
  • Produce technical drawings using AutoCAD or similar
  • Develop accurate costings, quotes, and project documentation
  • Coordinate with internal teams including workshop and technical departments
  • Manage external suppliers and oversee logistics
  • Lead on-site delivery, ensuring quality, finish, and timelines are met
  • Maintain strong client relationships throughout each project lifecycle

What they’re looking for:

  • Proven experience in scenic construction or live events production
  • Strong technical drawing capability using AutoCAD or similar tools
  • Solid understanding of materials, finishes, and build methods
  • Experience managing budgets, timelines, and multiple stakeholders
  • Confident communicator with a client-facing approach
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, project-driven environment
  • Full driving licence beneficial but not essential

What’s on offer:

  • Opportunity to work on high-profile, creative projects
  • Collaborative and supportive team environment
  • Private healthcare and dental cover
  • Pension scheme and long-term development opportunities
  • Regular team activities and a strong internal culture
  • 30 days holiday including bank holidays

If you’re looking for a role where you can take full ownership of projects and see your work come to life in real environments, this could be a strong fit.
