Are you an organised and service-focused Administrator looking to join a friendly school office team from January 2026? A primary school in Newham is recruiting an Administrator to handle frontline office duties, maintain records and support school systems. The Administrator will be responsible for reception and enquiries, admissions support, daily communications with parents and staff, and basic administrative finance tasks. The role will involve regular use of the school MIS, creating letters and emails, coordinating booking systems and assisting with event administration. A structured induction will be provided prior to January 2026, with the Administrator taking up post in January 2026. This Newham-based Administrator role is ideal for someone who enjoys working collaboratively, has strong ICT skills and is happy to be the welcoming face of the school office. Responsibilities Run

the school reception, manage telephone and email communications and greet

visitors professionally. Maintain

and update records on the MIS, support admissions and help with pupil-data

tasks. Assist

with trip and event admin, process permissions and support parents with

routine queries. Provide

admin support to the senior team, including basic finance admin and

document preparation. Contribute

to improving office systems and maintaining strong home–school

communications across Newham. Person specification Experience

in an administrative role, ideally within a school or busy public-sector

office. Good

IT literacy, confident with MS Office and school MIS systems and accurate

with data entry. Strong

organisational and interpersonal skills, able to manage multiple

priorities and support families effectively. Available
