£12.74 per hour (PAYE) or £15.59 per hour PAYE (Umbrella) Job Description: We are looking for a reliable and flexible School Caretaker to support schools across the Barnsley contract. Duties include: General site maintenance and litter picking

Planned and reactive repairs

Room set ups (porterage)

Supporting with security and site safety

Deep cleaning tasks (carpets, windows, kitchens)

Monitoring contractors and following health & safety procedures

You may be required to support different schools to cover sickness or leave. Occasional overtime may be required. Requirements (Essential): Full UK Driving Licence

Experience in a trade or similar role

Excellent customer service skills

Able to prioritise and work independently

Able to use own initiative

Desirable: H&S experience (manual handling and working at height)

Understanding of COSHH guidelines and colour coding
