Bolton Muslim School is seeking a reliable and proactive School Site Supervisor to ensure the school facilities, grounds, and buildings are maintained to the highest standards of safety, security, and cleanliness for pupils, staff, and visitors.

The successful candidate will take operational responsibility for the management of the school site, including maintenance, security, contractor management, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

This is a key role within the school, helping to maintain a safe, welcoming, and well-maintained learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

Site & Building Management

Oversee the maintenance and repair of school buildings, grounds, and facilities.

Carry out routine maintenance, minor repairs, and DIY projects.

Implement and monitor planned maintenance programmes.

Liaise with and monitor contractors working on site.

Advise the School Facilities Manager/Headteacher on site improvements.

Health & Safety

The role requires a strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

The successful candidate will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check. xbpsjku

Please note that the candidates must have previous experience in a School

Hours: Working hours Monday to Thursday 6.30am-3.00pm or 12.30p.m. to 7.30pm and Friday 6.30am-11.30am.

Holidays: This is an all year contract as opposed to term time only, so 5 weeks holidays plus Bank Holidays will apply, in essence 33 days holiday.
