Hello Education are currently working with a friendly and welcoming primary school in Bingley who are looking to appoint a reliable and hardworking School Cleaner to join their site team. This is an i mmediate start and an ongoing role, with the potential to continue on a longer-term basis for the right person.
The school is looking for someone who takes pride in their work and understands the importance of maintaining a clean, safe and hygienic environment for pupils and staff.
About the role: As a School Cleaner, you will play a vital role in ensuring the school is clean, tidy and ready for learning each day. Duties will typically include:
Cleaning classrooms, corridors and communal areas

Sweeping, vacuuming and mopping floors

Emptying bins and disposing of waste safely

Wiping down desks, chairs and frequently touched surfaces

Cleaning toilets and washroom facilities

Replenishing soap, hand towels and sanitiser

Using and storing cleaning equipment safely

Reporting any maintenance or health & safety concerns

Following all safeguarding, health and safety procedures

The school is looking for someone who is: Reliable, hardworking and committed

Able to work independently and manage their time well

Attentive to detail and takes pride in their work

Friendly and professional around pupils and staff

Experienced in cleaning (school or commercial experience preferred)
