Job Title: School Cook Location: Prestwich, Manchester Hours: 9:30am - 2:00pm (Monday to Friday) Pay: £17-£19 per hour Start Date: ASAP Contract: Long-Term
We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable School Cook to join a welcoming school in Prestwich, Manchester. This is a long-term opportunity with consistent hours, ideal for someone looking for stability in a rewarding school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Preparing and cooking nutritious, balanced meals for students and staff Ensuring all food hygiene and health & safety standards are met Managing kitchen cleanliness and organisation Monitoring stock levels and assisting with ordering supplies Catering for dietary requirements and allergens Working efficiently to deliver meals on time within a busy school setting
Requirements:
Previous experience as a cook, ideally within a school or similar setting Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2 or above preferred) Knowledge of allergens and dietary requirements Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable, punctual, and organised Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS FOR SPENCER CLARKE GROUP
