A specialist SEN school in Windlesham, Surrey is seeking a Science Teacher to inspire their students through science!
About the role
This is not a typical teaching role.
You will teach small classes of around 6 pupils, supported by teaching assistants and an onsite clinical team, in a calm and purpose built environment designed for students with autism.
The role involves working with young people who may have had disrupted experiences in education, helping them rebuild confidence, re-engage with learning and achieve meaningful academic and personal progress.

What you’ll be doing
- Plan and deliver engaging, personalised Science lessons
- Create a calm, structured environment where students can thrive
- Adapt teaching to meet individual needs and learning styles
- Monitor progress across both academic and personal development
- Work closely with colleagues, therapists, and families to support each student
- Contribute to a broad, flexible curriculum including practical and outdoor learning
What we’re looking for
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching Science
- Experience in SEND/ASC or a strong interest in developing in this area
- A calm, patient, and adaptable teaching approach
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
