Science TeacherStart Date: April 2026Location: CreweContract: Part time or Full timeSimply Education are recruiting on behalf of a specialist school for a dedicated Science Teacher to join a supportive team working with young people who require additional support to re-engage with education and achieve their potential.As a Science Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching and supporting the wider vision of the academy. As a Science Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging Science lessons, monitor student progress and adapt teaching to meet individual learning needs. As a Science Teacher, you will also support the development of high-quality teaching and learning within the Science curriculum and contribute to a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Science Teacher, you will:Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons that support strong student progressMonitor and assess student achievement and track progress against targetsSupport the development of high-quality Science teaching and learning across the schoolWork with the SENCO to identify students who require additional support or interventionDeliver and support PSHE and RHSE programmes where requiredMaintain positive behaviour and create a supportive learning environmentSupport the mental health and wellbeing of studentsContribute to the planning, organisation and development of the Science curriculumSupport colleagues through sharing best practice to improve teaching and learningWhat We Are Looking ForWe are seeking a Science Teacher who:Must be a Science Teacher with QTS or QTLSHas strong subject and curriculum knowledge in ScienceIs able to set high expectations and inspire students to achieveDemonstrates success in supporting students who may be working below expected levelsHas experience working with disengaged or disconnected learnersDemonstrates flexibility and adaptability within the curriculumIs committed to improving student outcomes and wellbeingIs committed to the school's focus on improving student attainmentExperience of contributing to whole-school teaching and learning strategies would be advantageousAbility to inspire all in a love of learning for ScienceApply NowIf you are a passionate Science Teacher looking to make a real difference in the lives of young people, we would love to hear from you.Please click apply by sending your CV to Simply Education to find out more about this rewarding opportunity.
