As a Cover Supervisor, youll step into the classroom to deliver pre-planned lessons, maintain a positive learning environment, and support studentswithout the responsibility of planning or marking. Each day brings new classrooms, new students, and fresh challengesideal for those who enjoy variety and want to build experience in secondary education. What Youll Be Doing
Supervising classes during teacher absences
Delivering pre-prepared lesson materials to students
Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a calm, productive environment
Supporting students with their work and encouraging engagement
Following school policies and working collaboratively with staff
Adapting quickly to different subjects, year groups, and school settings
What Were Looking For
Experience working with young people (school experience is a bonus)
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Confident, adaptable, and reliable approach
Ability to engage and motivate secondary-age students
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
