Teaching Personnel – Secondary English Teacher (KS3 & KS4) Vale of Glamorgan Start Date: ASAP Contract: Until July 2026 (with potential extension for the 2026/27 academic year) Pay: £172.98 – £238.95 per day (paid to scale) Teaching Personnel is seeking a passionate and qualified English Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive secondary school in the Vale of Glamorgan. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated educator to teach Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students, with a strong focus on delivering engaging, high-quality English lessons that inspire a love of literature and language. The Role:

Deliver engaging and differentiated English lessons across KS3 and KS4

Plan, prepare, and assess work in line with the national curriculum

Monitor and support student progress to ensure positive outcomes

Contribute to the wider school community and uphold school policies

Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment

The Ideal Candidate Will:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

Have experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4 level

Demonstrate strong classroom management skills

Be committed to raising attainment and supporting student development

Be adaptable, proactive, and enthusiastic
