Install & Commissioning Engineer – Enterprise Security Systems

Location: Manchester / Northwest

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Install & Commissioning Engineer to deliver enterprise-level security systems across commercial and corporate environments. This role is ideal for a Security Installation Engineer, Security Systems Engineer, or CCTV / Access Control Engineer with strong commissioning experience.

Role Overview

The successful Install & Commissioning Engineer will be responsible for the installation, configuration, commissioning, and handover of enterprise security systems, working on large-scale, IP-based security solutions.

Key Responsibilities

* Installation and commissioning of enterprise security systems

* Working on:CCTV systems (IP CCTV, networked CCTV, VMS platforms), Access Control systems, Intruder Alarm systems, Integrated security systems

* System configuration, testing, fault finding, and optimisation

* Network and IP-based troubleshooting

* Reading and working from security drawings and schematics

* Site commissioning, system handover, and client training

Candidate Requirements

* Proven experience as an Install Engineer, Commissioning Engineer, or Security Systems Engineer

* Strong background in enterprise or large-scale security systems

* Solid knowledge of IP CCTV, Access Control, and VMS platforms

* Experience working in commercial, corporate, or enterprise environments

* Full UK driving licence

* Strong fault-finding and commissioning skills

* Excellent communication and customer-facing ability

Desirable Skills & Certifications

* Manufacturer experience or certifications with:Genetec, Lenel / LenelS2, Milestone, Gallagher, Avigilon, Honeywell, Paxton

* Good networking / IP knowledge

* Security clearance (where applicable)
