Security Engineer (Contract) | Callington (Cornwall) | Hybrid WFH (2 days a week in office)We are working with a client looking for a hands-on Security Engineer to join them on an initial 3-month contract with strong potential to extend.Location: Callington (Cornwall)Start: ASAPOn-site: 3 days per weekContract: Inside IR35Sponsorship: Unfortunately no Sponsorship available (must be UK Citizen)What you'll be doing:Monitoring and responding to security threats and alerts (SOC tools like Darktrace / RocketCyber)Investigating and resolving security incidents end-to-endManaging vulnerabilities, patching and system hardeningSupporting security across Azure, M365, Windows Server and VMware environmentsWorking on a mix of BAU security operations + project workCollaborating with internal teams and external SOC providersWhat they're looking for:Strong Security Engineer experience (hands-on)Experience with Azure + Microsoft 365 securitySolid Windows Server + VMware (Vsphere/ESXi)Experience with SOC / monitoring tools (Darktrace / RocketCyber or similar)Incident response, threat analysis and remediationKnowledge of MFA, Conditional Access, endpoint securityComfortable working across hybrid environments (cloud + on-prem)This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands-on, owning security incidents, and working across a modern hybrid environment.JBRP1_UKTJ
