Job Title: Security Manager - Identity Engineering

Contract Type: Permanent

Location: Edinburgh or Alderley Edge

Working style: Hybrid 50% home/office based

We are seeking a Security Manager within our Security & Resilience team. This role focuses on maintaining high standards to ensure colleagues have appropriate access, minimizing cybersecurity risks.

The successful candidate will work independently in the Identity & Access Management field, overseeing the support of Identity tooling. The role includes managing a small team of Identity Engineers and developing their skills to operate Identity Management controls effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Develop IAM Engineering strategies and coach team members on technical implementations aligned with Cyber and Business strategies.
• Manage Cloud identity standards and performance measurement within the group.
• Lead the development of technical processes, procedures, tools, and metrics for Privileged Access Management & Identity Governance to ensure optimal operation within SLAs.
• Represent the Head of Operational Security in management forums as needed.
• Create Key Risk Indicator (KRI) reports on the effectiveness of Identity Management controls.
• Recommend tooling enhancements and automation opportunities for security threat detection and response.
• Manage technical risks in IAM, control frameworks, and embed Risk Management System elements.
