Position Details

Staffline is recruiting for a Security Officer to work in Thurso. The rate of pay is £13.84 per hour. This is a full-time position covering days, nights, and weekends as required to support the security team. We offer flexibility on hours, so part-time or casual hours can also be accommodated.

Requirements

• Valid SIA Licence is required.
• Must live within 30 miles of Thurso and have access to transport.
• Must be over 18 years old.

Your Role

Your duties will include:

• Site patrols.
• Vehicle and personnel searches.
• Control of access points.
• Monitoring cameras and alarms.
• Site emergency scheme duties, including incident response.
• Maintaining records and logs.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have:

• Good interpersonal and team working skills with high attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and a good standard of written English.
• Computer literacy.
• Ability to understand and work within clearly defined procedures and instructions relevant to a licensed site.
• Ability to obtain SC clearance during vetting and onboarding.
