We are seeking a dedicated and resilient SEMH Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a supportive school setting in Surrey, working with pupils who present Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
The Role
As an SEMH LSA, you will:
Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with SEMH needs Support pupils with emotional regulation, behaviour management, and engagement in learning Implement positive behaviour strategies and de-escalation techniques Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils who may display challenging behaviour Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral teams to support EHCP targets Promote a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environmentThe Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
