We are currently recruiting for a Semi-Skilled Welder Fabricator to join our growing and dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and reliable individual to work on a wide range of fabrication projects, both in the workshop and on-site.
The Role
You will be responsible for supporting the fabrication and welding of sheet metal and structural components, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with engineering specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Fabricate, assemble, and weld components from engineering drawings
Measure, cut, bend, and shape materials using workshop machinery and hand tools
Interpret technical drawings and complete tasks independently
Carry out finishing processes including grinding, polishing, and dressing welds
Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards
Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with health & safety procedures
Requirements
Previous experience in a similar welding/fabrication role
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Proactive attitude with good problem-solving skills
