We are working with a lovely local primary school who are looking for an experienced EYFS teacher to work in their small SEN unit.
The role is a very rewarding position and the school are very supportive.
The unit has approximately 10 students with a variety of additional needs so someone with experience would suit this position.
The role is for the summer term and is full time.
In this role, you will:
Create and deliver engaging lessons to meet the needs of the pupils individual needs
Have a strong knowledge of the National Curriculum
Create a safe and inclusive learning environment
Develop relationships with students, staff and parents to best support the students
Monitor progress and milestones
Build strong foundations in early literacy, numeracy and communication
What We’re Looking For
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
A genuine passion for Early Years education
Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum
Experience working with SEN pupils with varying needs
A collaborative approach and willingness to share ideas
DBS / willingness to apply for one
