Academics and Term Time Teachers are working closely with a number of welcoming Primary Schools in Lewes who are seeking dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistants to join them on a full-time basis.

This is a rewarding opportunity to support children with additional needs and make a meaningful difference every day.

Role Details:

Full Time - Monday to Friday

8:30am - 3:30pm

Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups

Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO

Assisting with learning, emotional regulation, and social development

Experience Required:

Candidates must have at least 6 months' experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including experience with needs such as:

ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder)

ADHD

Global Developmental Delay

Down Syndrome

Dyslexia

SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs)

Requirements:

Minimum 6 months relevant SEN experience

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)

Two years' worth of professional references

Patient, resilient, and nurturing approach

Strong communication and teamwork skills
