SEN Primary Teacher

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated SEN Primary Teacher to join a welcoming and well-resourced primary SEN school in Chessington, with an immediate start available.

This vibrant and inclusive SEN school is committed to meeting the individual needs of pupils with a range of special educational needs. The successful candidate will take responsibility for a Key Stage 2 class, delivering personalised learning and creating a nurturing environment where every child can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Role Details:

* Full-time, term-time position
* Immediate start
* KS2 class within a specialist primary SEN setting
* Supportive leadership team and strong multi-disciplinary collaboration
* Access to excellent resources and specialist support

Key Responsibilities:

* Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual EHCPs
* Lead a KS2 class, fostering a structured, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
* Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, the SENCO, therapists, and external professionals
* Support pupils' emotional regulation, independence, and social development
* Promote positive behaviour strategies and build strong, trusting relationships

What We're Looking For:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Experience teaching pupils with SEN, ideally within KS2 or a primary SEN setting
* Strong understanding of differentiated teaching and personalised learning approaches
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills
* A genuine commitment to inclusive education and pupil wellbeing
