We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Primary School Teacher to join our team, working with children who have a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Sensory Processing Issues, and Non-Verbal Communication. Provide targeted support for students with learning disabilities, ensuring a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Adapt teaching strategies to support students with non-verbal communication and sensory needs, using appropriate resources and tools. Collaborate closely with the SENCO and support staff to implement and monitor Individual Education Plans (IEPs). Track and report on the progress of students, adjusting teaching methods as required to help them achieve their potential. PGCE with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is essential. Experience in teaching children with SEMH, Autism, Sensory Needs, and Learning Disabilities. Ability to adapt lessons and activities to suit the individual needs of each child.
