- Deliver personalised 1:1 or small-group sessions, particularly for KS4 students.
- Engage and motivate reluctant learners using flexible, creative, and practical strategies.
- Promote emotional regulation, wellbeing, and resilience.
- Support students’ personal development, independence, and life skills.
- Work closely with teachers, SENCO, pastoral staff, and external agencies.
- Maintain high standards of safeguarding, behaviour, and consistency across all environments.
Essential Criteria

- Full, clean driving licence and confidence driving for work duties.
- Willingness to support students in off-site or community learning settings.
- Strong initiative and independence when working outside the classroom environment.
2. Experience Supporting Students with Complex Needs
- Experience supporting children or young people with a range of complex needs.
- Ability to build strong, consistent, and trusting relationships.
- Resilience, patience, and emotional regulation when working with challenging situations.
3. Skills Working with Disengaged KS4 Male Students
- Proven ability to engage KS4 male learners who may be reluctant or withdrawn from education.
- Ability to motivate students using creative, hands-on, or alternative strategies.
- Strong behaviour management rooted in empathy, positive relationships, and clear boundaries.
4. Initiative, Leadership & Teamwork
- Confident delivering 1:1 and group sessions both in school and in the community.
- Able to adapt learning activities and problem-solve independently.
- Strong collaborative approach across multidisciplinary teams.
What This Setting Offers
- A warm, welcoming, and nurturing atmosphere.
- A personalised and holistic curriculum adapted to meet individual needs.
- Therapeutic and emotional-literacy support built into daily practice.
- A focus on personal development, life skills, and readiness for adulthood.
- A supportive and dedicated staff team committed to helping every student thrive. xbpsjku
